iPhone Screen Repair FAQs
Which iPhone models can you replace the screen on?
We replace screens on iPhones from the iPhone 4 right through to the iPhone 17 range, including SE, X, XR, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 models. Find your model in this category or call us for a quote.
How much does iPhone screen repair cost in Sydney?
iPhone screen repair prices depend on the model. Older models such as the iPhone 5, 5s and original SE start from $49.99, and many recent models are $129.99. Each product page shows the exact price for your iPhone.
What is the difference between a glass-only repair and a complete screen?
Glass only replaces the cracked top glass when the display underneath still works. A complete screen or LCD replaces the glass, touch layer and display together, and is needed when you see lines, black areas or touch has stopped working.
How do I know if my iPhone needs a new screen?
Common signs are cracked or chipped glass, black or blank areas, lines or flickering, colours bleeding, and touch that does not respond or presses things by itself. If you are not sure, bring it in and we will check it.
Is it safe to keep using an iPhone with a cracked screen?
It is not a good idea. Glass splinters can cut your fingers, cracks spread over time and moisture can get in and damage the display. Fixing it early often stops a cheap glass repair turning into a full screen replacement.
Will I lose my photos when you replace my iPhone screen?
No. A screen replacement does not erase your iPhone, so your photos, apps and messages stay where they are. We still recommend a backup before any repair.
How long does an iPhone screen replacement take?
Most iPhone screen replacements are done the same day at our Padstow shop, often within an hour or two depending on the model and how busy we are. Call 02 8739 2050 and we will give you a time.
Why does my iPhone show a message about the display after a screen repair?
On iPhone 11 and newer models, iOS can show a notice that it cannot verify the display is a genuine Apple part. This is a software notice only. The screen works normally and the message does not affect how you use your phone.
